FAQs
-
Well, you could… but you’ll spend hours calling around, hoping someone answers, and wondering if they’re reliable. With us, you get vetted introductions in minutes, not maybes.
-
Really anyone - disaster response organization, agencies, corporations, utilities, oil & gas, municipalities, states, and nonprofits - anyone looking for trusted partners in disaster response, event logistics, and resilience planning. If speed and trust matter, you belong here.
-
Providers are by invitation only. We look at reputation, safety, proven performance, and capacity before anyone is listed. No random sign-ups, ever.
-
Visibility with the right clients, priority referrals, and repeat opportunities you won’t get by cold-calling. Think of it as a warm door into real projects.
-
That’s exactly why we exist. We specialize in the not-so-ordinary requests that make Googling a nightmare. If you need it, chances are we know who to call.
-
Not at all. Members also use the network for large events, utility projects, and even “blue skies” corporate needs like catering, staging, or mobile kitchens.
-
In some cases, within hours. Response Support Members always get priority introductions, and our Network Partners know to answer quickly when Blue2Gray calls.
-
Nope. This isn’t a free-for-all directory. It’s curated, vetted, and intentionally kept lean so both Members and Partners get value without the noise.
-
No. Blue2Gray isn’t built on ads or pay-to-play placement. This is a curated, year-round network designed to connect emergency management and logistics professionals with a dream team of trusted partners. While there is a membership fee, no one can simply buy their way to the top of the list — credibility and quality are what count.
-
Reviews can often be emotion-driven and skewed by perspective. Instead, we use testimonials — real feedback shared by agencies, vendors, and clients who’ve worked together successfully through the network. If a partner doesn’t have any testimonials yet, that just means they haven’t been tapped for a project yet. In other words: no testimonials = the only “negative review” you’ll ever see.
-
We offer ad hoc access for non-members. Scroll down to the Ad Hoc Requests section below to learn how it works and see pricing options.
-
Blue2Gray does not supervise, control, or guarantee the services of its members. All providers are independent businesses responsible for their own work.
Membership registration will include this clarity and disclaimer. We make you aware of the “good” holes- swim at your own risk.
-
Because this network was built by people who’ve lived it—decades of emergency management, utilities, and disaster response. But just as important, we follow a strict “no-a-hole” rule. We only bring in competent, fun, ego-free professionals you’ll actually want to work with when the pressure is on. Skill and trust go hand in hand here.
-
Not yet—but we’re working on it. For now, you’ll just have to settle for faster response times, vetted partners, and less stress.
Ad Hoc Requests - How It Works:
Submit Your Request – Fill out the quick request form (linked below).
We Source the Match – Blue2Gray connects you with a partner from our network.
Pay As You Go – A one-time referral fee applies
Upgrade Anytime – If you find yourself needing more than one connection per year, you can convert to an annual membership and your first referral fee will be credited toward your tier.
Pricing:
If someone needs a referral but isn’t a member:
Single Connection / Single Resource – $250 flat fee
Event Bundle (2–5 resources) – $500 flat fee
Large-Scale Event (6+ resources) – $1,000 flat fee
And with each of these, you can apply a credit toward membership if they sign up within 30 days. Example: pay $500 for an event, then convert to Premium membership, we apply the $500 as credit toward their annual dues.
Who It’s For:
Anyone who has a last minute, urgent or one-off resource need - blue sky or gray
Oh, There WILL Be Testimonials -
In the Meantime, Please Enjoy These Entirely Made Up Ones….
“When our 2,500-person basecamp was staring down a storm with no portable showers, Blue2Gray had one rolling before I even found the duct tape or my coffee got cold. Normally, that would’ve taken seventeen emails, three ignored voicemails, and a small sacrifice to the logistics gods.”
— Logistics Chief, Hurricane Response
“I used to play ‘vendor roulette’ every time a disaster hit — spin the wheel and see if I’d get a busy signal, a random upcharge, or someone who thinks a fuel truck is just a big pickup with a gas can. Then I found Blue2Gray. Now the trucks actually show up, and I only spin roulette in Vegas where it belongs.”
— Emergency Manager, Utility Sector
